Sunny Leone, mother of three, recently shared emotional and eye-opening details about her surrogacy journey. In a new episode of Soha Ali Khan’s podcast All About Her, the actress discussed the different paths to parenthood including adoption and surrogacy and how they shaped her life. Sunny and her husband Daniel Weber are parents to daughter Nisha, whom they adopted in 2017, and twin sons Noah and Asher, born via surrogacy in 2018.
In the podcast trailer shared by Soha on Thursday, Sunny openly admits she chose surrogacy intentionally because she didn’t want to carry a child. “Yeah, I did not,” Sunny responded when Soha asked if the decision was deliberate. The episode also features gynecologist Dr. Kiran Coelho to discuss women’s wellness and parenting choices.
When asked about the financial aspect of surrogacy, Sunny revealed that the surrogate received a substantial weekly payment. “Her husband also got money to take days off work,” she said. Sunny shared that the total compensation was enough for the surrogate to build a house and have a large, beautiful wedding. “We paid so much money. She bought a house and had a beautiful large wedding,” Sunny added, highlighting how the experience positively impacted the surrogate’s life too.
