Bollywood superstar and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen spewed candid reflections on her first encounter with Donald Trump during her period as the Miss India Universe franchise holder between 2010-2012, the time when the Miss Universe organization was under the ownership of Trump.
A surreal moment and like a dream was how Sen described being offered the franchise, signing a pretty intense contract, and thus making the whole experience far away from being easy or glamorous.
In spite of the fact that Trump owned property, she explained, her bona fide employers were Paramount Communications and Madison Square Garden, not Trump.
In terms of her personal impression of Trump, Sen said that while “some people leave an impression, not necessarily because of their accomplishments or power,” he was not one of those people. For all he is worth, “He is not one of them.” It is the kind of subtle, professional perspective rather than an outright comment on his public persona.
Sen spoke these words in promoting her hit web series Aarya, which also heralds her return to acting with renewed determination-bold forays into mature and brave roles.
