Varun Dhawan, also known as Prime Bae, recently lit up Prime Video’s office. He burst into a marketing team meeting with energy and jokes. He came armed with “outrageous, crazy, and pathbreaking” ideas to promote Heads of State, the new action-comedy starring John Cena, Idris Elba, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
He kicked things off by pitching a pulp-fiction style Hindi title, “Desh ke Sir – Baaki Sab Be-asar.” Then he suggested adding India’s iconic sutli bomb as a dramatic effect. That was not all he even volunteered to voice all three lead characters, including Priyanka’s!
His ideas may have raised eyebrows in the boardroom, but they earned huge laughs online. The video of Dhawan crashing the meeting has gone viral. Fans applauded his bold creativity and humor.
Directed by Ilya Naishuller, Heads of State features a powerhouse cast. Besides Cena, Elba, and Chopra Jonas, the film includes Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles. The plot mixes high-stakes action with political satire and humor. And it’s now live on Prime Video in multiple languages – English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
