Vishwambhara Release Postponed Again? Blame on Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan

One of the most awaited Telugu movies, Vishwambhara, starring none other than megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by Vassishta, is again buzzing around-not because of its trailer or teaser but around its unending release dates. The film is a true feat of a blockbuster yet seems too caught up in the making sacrifices and shifting priorities-first for family, now because of external industry pressures.

Vishwambhara Release Postponed

Initially, Vishwambhara was set to strike the Sankranthi 2025 target for release-a festive window known for pulling in enormous box-office numbers. Nonetheless, the team chose to sacrifice that plum slot for a film starring Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan. Fans understood and appreciated this gesture, seeing it as a father’s support to his son in achieving success.

Currently: Dussehra Goes to Younger Brother Pawan Kalyan

As the discussions heated up on a Dussehra release date on 18 September, the makers again stepped back. This time the date was allotted for Pawan Kalyan’s eagerly awaited film OG (Oji). It was the announcement from the producers of OG declaring the release date as September 25, which left no doubt-the final nail in the coffin for Vishwambhara to shift from the festive frame.

A Summer 2025 Release? But At Whose Expense?

Well, then, there’s no Sankranthi or Dussehra; Vishwambhara is finally talking about a Summer 2025 release now. But this does not come without a cost. THE film of this scale always costs dearly when postponed; this increases all interest, production timelines get extended, and the heat waves grow from the financiers.

Is there Really Any Intention to Bring It Out?

From sacrificing to family up to giving space to fellow industry members, Vishwambhara sacrificed a lot. But now, the audience has raised the crucial question: Is there actually a plan to release this film then? As noble as the intentions may be, repeated delays risk fading the hype. It is only to hope that the wait for Vishwambhara would be over with a grand summer release-before sacrifices would turn into setbacks.
