Who Could Have Done Lord Rama Role Better Than Ranbir Kapoor?

Ranbir Kapoor Lord Rama Role: Ranbir Kapoor is easily one of Bollywood’s greatest talents; his range and expressiveness can unlock a character. However, his choice as Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s next Ramayana generated mixed reactions not only among fans but among film critics. Some are thrilled for the upcoming project; others think that a different actor would have better grasped the purity and righteousness that normally come with Lord Rama’s character. Let’s break it down by who could have fitted into it perhaps and why.

1. Prabhas- The Pan-India Hero

After playing the role of Lord Ram-like Raghava in Adipurush, Prabhas is still in the race as a popular candidate. He carries with him the dignity of calmness, a strong and wide fan base in every area, making him a strong contender for mythological roles. Some of Adipurush’s weaknesses were in the direction, Prabhas had that quiet strength typical of Rama.

2. Ram Charan- The Discipline and Devotion

Ram Charan after pervading worldly soporific into different audiences post- RRR is lauded at different levels worldwide. His brilliance to be composing and putting intense dedication into his roles proves that Charan does really complete the avatar of virtues that are a part of Lord Rama- sathya, dharma and bravery. He is given extra creamy right with the great physicality and traditional screen images.

3. Yash- Charismatic Yet Composed

KGF star Yash may be known for rugged action roles, but his off-screen persona and expressive eyes could bring depth to Lord Rama’s restrained yet powerful nature. A fresh and unexpected choice, Yash could’ve added silent strength to the character.

4. Vicky Kaushal- Subtle and Soulful

Vicky Kaushal has proved his mettle in emotional and patriotic roles. With his ability to portray restraint and depth, he could’ve brought a grounded, more human version of Rama-one that balances vulnerability with virtue.

5. Hrithik Roshan- The Divine Look

Hrithik Roshan’s godlike physique and classical features have time and again invited comparisons with mythological figures. His strong performances in both Jodhaa Akbar and Mohenjo Daro could encapsulate the rich royal grace and moral authority of Lord Rama.

Whether Ranbir or Not, Rama Requires Grace

Ranbir Kapoor is a fine actor, but bringing out the persona of Lord Rama needs spiritual connectivity with the audience and relatability with cultures as well as mass appeal. Though it can be subjective, these actors would offer different perspectives, probably more resonant with the Indian audience.
