Zubeen Garg Passed Away: Zubeen Garg, an Assamese singer, lost his life in a Singaporean scuba diving accident. After being pulled from the sea by Singaporean authorities and sent to a local hospital, Zubeen tragically died. Doctors have been continuously monitoring Zubeen’s condition and providing intensive treatment since his admission to the intensive care unit. But as of yet, no formal health updates have been made public. Zubeen was supposed to play today at the North East Festival in Singapore, where he had traveled.
Who is Zubeen Garg?
Zubeen Garg is well-known in the Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi language music industry. It is said that he is the highest-paid singer in Assam. His biggest breakthrough was in 2006 through the “Ya Ali” song from the Hindi movie Gangster. After this, he has been in his golden period with many offers. He has also worked in many Bengali and Assamese films. Apart from singing, he was also a producer, actor, and film director.

Zubeen Garg Past Controversies:
In 2019, he was in a controversy for spreading hate against Brahmins. Later, he apologized for his statements. Following this, he was also in controversy in 2024 for making hurtful comments on lord Krishna and a Hindu deity. He said they were never gods but men. These hateful comments have landed him in a very strong controversy. He was then banned from the Majuli district in the Satra Mahasabha.
