On Thursday, businessman Chirag Purushottam donated ₹1 crore to the SV Pranadana Trust. The trust is run by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). It offers free medical treatment to poor patients suffering from serious illnesses. Purushottam handed over the cheque to TTD chairman BR Naidu. Revenue Minister A Satya Prasad was also present during the donation. The donation is a significant boost for the trust’s ongoing healthcare projects.
The SV Pranadana Trust helps patients with heart, kidney, brain, and other fatal diseases. It offers free treatments and surgeries to those who cannot afford them. The trust also supports research on diseases like chronic renal failure, haemophilia, and thalassemia. The trust has helped thousands of patients so far. It works closely with TTD’s hospitals to provide quality care and advanced medical support to the needy.
Chairman BR Naidu praised Purushottam’s generosity. He said the donation will strengthen the trust’s efforts. The trust saves many lives every year. Naidu said the trust was created with the goal of helping the poor get world-class medical care. He added that such donations help expand the reach and improve facilities. The chairman also thanked Purushottam for setting an example for others to support this noble cause.
