Bank Holiday Tomorrow:
Banks across India will remain closed on Saturday, October 25, 2025, as it is the fourth Saturday of the month. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, all scheduled banks including public sector, private sector, cooperative, regional rural, and foreign banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
Banks operate normally on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of the month, while Sundays are always non-working days. Therefore, this weekend, banks will be closed for two consecutive days — October 25 (Saturday) and October 26 (Sunday). Regular banking operations at branches will resume on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Even though physical bank branches will remain closed, customers can continue to use online and mobile banking services. Services like fund transfers, ATM withdrawals, bill payments, and UPI transactions will function without any interruption. Customers can use these digital platforms to perform most transactions conveniently from home.
Those who need to visit the bank for cash deposits, cheque clearance, or documentation work should plan their visit either before or after the weekend. Transactions made during the weekend will likely be processed on the next working day.
After this fourth Saturday, the next round of bank holidays will depend on regional festivals and RBI notifications. Some states may observe holidays later in October for Chhath Puja or other local events. Customers are advised to check the official RBI holiday list or their bank’s website for state-specific updates.
With banks closed for two days, customers are encouraged to complete important transactions in advance or rely on digital banking options to avoid inconvenience.
