Chandni Chowk Market Closed After Delhi Blast: Details Here

Chandni Chowk Market Closed: Following a high-intensity explosion that happened in the Red Fort area last evening and left 13 people dead and 24 injured, Sanjay Bhargaw, president of the Market Association, has declared that the Chandni Chowk market in Delhi will be closed on Tuesday.


Red Fort Car Blast:
The Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk bazaar are located in the busy Old Delhi neighborhood of the country’s capital. One of Delhi’s most renowned tourist destinations is the Red Fort, and one of the largest and oldest markets in the city is Chandni Chowk. Following the explosion, which occurred near Red Fort Metro Station at around 7 p.m., there were dead victims and wrecked cars everywhere. People were inside the “slow-moving vehicle that stopped at the red light” when the explosion occurred, according to Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha.

Chandni Chowk Market Closed:
Following a car explosion at Red Fort Metro Station that left ten people dead and numerous others injured, the decision was made to close Chandni Chowk Market. Near the Red Fort’s Gate No. 1, there was a powerful explosion that wrecked multiple cars, blanketed the streets in dirt, and caused widespread panic. Delhi Police and the Special Cell have blocked off the area while firefighters and other emergency services continue to deal with the aftermath and assist victims.

What happened in the Delhi Car Blast?
Up to ten people were killed in a massive automobile explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort. When the explosion occurred close to Gate No. 1 of the Lal Quila Metro Station, three additional automobiles were damaged, and one car caught fire. An emergency call was received by the Fire Department at around 6:55 p.m. Seven fire engines were dispatched immediately to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading. The explosion was strong enough to shatter lamps and sparked panic in the populated neighborhood.

Chandni Chowk and the Red Fort are located in a densely populated area of Delhi. Because it’s wedding season, there are a lot of people here right now. However, since the markets are closed today, you should cancel if you were going to come this way. There was a great deal of dread in the Chandni Chowk market. Because of the shopkeeper’s panic, every store was closed today. However, it’s uncertain how long the market will be closed.
