Dhaka Airport: A major fire broke out at the cargo terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday, leading to the suspension of all flight operations, according to local media reports. Emergency services quickly reached the spot as thick smoke spread across parts of the airport. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire or reported any casualties.
Dhaka Airport Fire Accident:
According to the sources, this incident occurred around 2.15 pm. The airport authorities have directed the fire department, and even the Bangladesh Air Force fire unit has responded to contain the blaze. As per the reports, almost four units of the fire service and Civil Defense have been assigned to control the fire at the location. As the fire broke out in the cargo section, as of now, there are no reports of casualties. Further reports will be updated.
