Hyderabad Tragedy: Electrocution During Shobha Yatra Leaves 5 Dead

Hyderabad Shobha Yatra: Five people died due to electrocution during Shobha Yatra in Hyderabad. The accident occurred when the chariot hit an electric line. The deceased were locals. Four people were injured. The accident took place in Ramanthapur under Uppal police station limits. The accident occurred last night. The procession was in connection with Janmashtami.


 

The incident took place in RTC Colony in Ramanthapur. The deceased have been identified as Krishna (21), Srikanth Reddy (35), Suresh Yadav (34), Rudra Vikas (39) and Rajendra Reddy (45). All are residents of old Ramanthapur area. The bodies have been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. Uppal police have registered a case and started investigation.
