BTS star Jungkook has made a smashing return to Instagram and fans can’t keep calm. After a long hiatus, the singer launched a new Instagram account, and it’s already verified with over 9.1 million followers.
ARMYs discovered the account on July 15, 2025, even though Jungkook created it back in January. Within just ten days, the account got verified, proving once again how powerful BTS fandom is.
Jungkook has shared only one post so far. On July 19, he uploaded the iconic Golden album logo, accompanied by his hit track “Standing Next to You”. The post sparked a frenzy online, pushing his follower count into the millions almost instantly.
He updated his profile picture and bio after the post. The account handle @mnijungkook stands for “My Name is Jungkook,” a clever nod to his fans.
Currently, Jungkook follows just seven accounts his BTS bandmates RM, V, Jimin, Jin, J-Hope, SUGA, and the group’s label Big Hit Music.
Jungkook’s Instagram comeback follows his military discharge in June 2024. He returned alongside V (Kim Taehyung) and RM (Kim Namjoon) with a joint livestream on July 15, their first in years. Fans quickly connected the dots and discovered his new account during the session.
His first Instagram account, launched in December 2021, had over 50 million followers. He deleted it in February 2023, citing inactivity before his enlistment. Now, with this fresh start, Jungkook plans to resume livestreams and Q&A sessions.
