Hyderabad University Drugs Case:

A shocking drugs case has created a stir in Hyderabad. Police have revealed sensational details about a major drugs racket connected to a popular university. The investigation shows that the smuggling methods used are similar to those shown in the movie Pushpa. Suppliers hid drugs like heroin and ephedrine inside ordinary items such as books, Ayurvedic products, Oxford dictionaries, and clay bangles. They sent these items through courier services to different locations.

The police said students from well-known medical and engineering colleges are involved in this network. They found that parcels went regularly to these colleges on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Suppliers also sent marijuana, popularly called OG ganja, through Maruti Couriers.

The investigation shows that the network supplied drugs worth around ₹100 crore in the last two years. They used more than 10 courier companies to move the drugs. Officials suspect that some courier firms supported the drug gangs for commission. Cases have been registered against a few courier companies, and police are closely monitoring their role in the illegal trade. More arrests are likely in the coming days.

The growing use of drugs among students in Hyderabad has become a big concern for the police. Special police teams from Cyberabad and Hyderabad Commissionerates are working together to destroy these drug networks. This case has raised serious questions as students and courier companies are both linked to this crime.

The government and police have decided to take strict measures to stop such activities in the future. Authorities have also planned awareness programs in educational institutions to prevent drug use among students. The entire state is watching this case closely as it exposes the deep roots of the drug problem in Telangana.
