Hyundai i20 Behind Red Fort Blast Traced to Pulwama Resident

Red Fort Blast: According to sources, the white Hyundai i20 implicated in Monday’s explosion near Red Fort that killed eight people had a Gurugram registration number and was formerly owned by a Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, resident. Gurugram Police seized Mohammad Salman, a Gurgaon resident, for interrogation based on information from Delhi Police.

Red Fort Blasted Car Owned by Pulwama Resident:
According to sources, Salman revealed during questioning that he had sold the vehicle to Devendra, a resident of Okhla in southeast Delhi, around a year and a half ago. He also turned over all sale-related paperwork to Gurugram Police. Follow-up investigation showed that Devendra sold the Hyundai i20, registered HR26CE7674, that was involved in the explosion to a buyer in Ambala, Haryana. The ownership trail and transaction information are being confirmed and shared with central security authorities, according to investigators.

Sources claim that Tariq, a man from Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, afterwards bought the vehicle. When the slow-moving vehicle stopped at a traffic light close to the Red Fort Metro station on Monday night, police are currently investigating how the explosion happened.
