On July 22, 2025, Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel’s Zega venue hosted an insightful event titled “Bloom & Beyond – The Mother Shift”. This invite-only panel discussion, organized by Travelling Sandook – Wellness Bazaar, focused on the crucial yet often overlooked topics of pre- and postpartum wellness. The event attracted a diverse audience, including entrepreneurs, content creators, healthcare professionals and mothers, all united in exploring the journey of motherhood.
Puja Khan, Co-Founder of Bear & Bugle, moderated the event and also led Wellness Bazaar. The panel explored the physical, emotional, and hormonal changes that women experience after childbirth—subjects that people seldom discuss openly. The panel featured four experts who brought unique perspectives to maternal wellness.
Bloom & Beyond Panel on Postpartum Wellness
Madhavi Chalasani, founder of YelloLife, spoke about the transformative role of mindful eating in postpartum recovery. With her expertise in Nutrition ans Dietetics and Child Psychology, she shared actionable advice on food awareness to promote both physical healing and mental well-being.
Sucheta Pal, an internationally recognized fitness educator and TEDx speaker, introduced Mom.Bod.Strong, a program designed to empower mothers through sustainable fitness. She emphasized that fitness should be empowering, not stressful, offering guidance on how mothers can regain strength while balancing their emotional health.
Dr. Pooja Reddy, a board-certified dermatologist and expectant mother, brought both medical expertise and personal experience to the table. She discussed skin-related issues faced by new mothers, such as hormonal acne and stretch marks, providing science-backed solutions for these challenges.
Malavika Siddharth, a certified nutritionist and co-founder of Hello Tempayy, highlighted the critical link between gut health and postpartum recovery. Her global experience in tackling nutritional gaps, especially for vegetarian and vegan mothers, offered valuable insights into managing protein deficiencies.
The event offered a holistic approach to maternal wellness, emphasizing not just medical advice but also the importance of nutrition, fitness, skincare and emotional health during the postpartum period. The panel left the audience with practical tools and a deeper understanding of how to care for both the body and mind during the early stages of motherhood.
