Telangana Weather Update: The rains are about to start again in the Telugu states. The Meteorological Department has announced that there is a possibility of widespread rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from tomorrow due to the influence of a surface depression formed in the northwest Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has warned that very heavy rains are likely to occur in many districts from the 13th to the 16th of this month. Officials have advised people to be careful on the roads during the rains and those living in low-lying areas to be vigilant.
According to the Hyderabad Meteorological Center.. Today (Monday) there is a possibility of heavy rain in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Yadadri, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal district areas. A yellow alert has already been issued for these areas. Especially on August 13, there is a possibility of low pressure in the west-central Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in the state from August 13 to 16.
On Sunday, 11.05 cm of rainfall was recorded in Akkapur in Nirmal district, 8.93 cm in Fanigiri in Suryapet district, 7.28 cm in Ichchoda in Adilabad district, and 6.70 cm in Duggondi in Warangal district. Along with Hyderabad, heavy rains were also recorded in Narayanpet, Rajanna Sircilla, Kamareddy, Medak, Rangareddy, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Sangareddy districts.
According to the Visakhapatnam Meteorological Center, Parvathipuram, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Eluru districts of Andhra Pradesh will be particularly prone to heavy rains until this weekend. Farmers and those who go outside for work have been warned to be careful. The Meteorological Department has officially announced this with the possibility of heavy rains in many parts of the state. The rains are likely to increase further in the coming days.
Due to continuous rains in Hyderabad city for the last two to three days, water has entered Panjagutta and other colonies, causing problems. The government has been heavily criticized on social media.
