Kaantha OTT: Kaantha, Dulquer Salmaan’s most recent Tamil feature film, is finally set for its OTT release. Critics applauded the actor’s portrayal of TK Mahadevan; some even stated it among Salmaan’s best performances of his career. The movie became the focus of conversation for its honesty, compelling story, and outstanding photography right after its November 14, 2022, theatrical debut.
Rumors are going that Kaantha’s Netflix show is a cover-up for the maybe release on December 12. Along with all the highs and lows of seeing the episodes in theatres following a stage release, viewers who may have missed the chance or may want to watch it again may view them. Though Netflix’s official announcements are expected, industry sources say the date is fixed.
With the Netflix series The Hunt for Veerappan, Selvamani Selvaraj became quite literally his debut into feature films with Kaantha and gained great popularity. Regarding the shift from documentary storytelling to historical drama, many claim it’s bold and unique.
The Tamil film business of the 1950s- TK Mahadevan (Dulquer Salmaan), a star in making fighting against celebrity, pressure, and personal issues- forms the core of the story Kaantha. Samuthirakani lived like Ayya, a filmmaker; Rana Daggubati represented a police officer of considerable relevance to the plot. Bhagyashree Borse plays the love interest, Kumari.
The film is being created by Wayfarer Films by Dulquer Salmaan and Spirit Media by Rana Daggubati; Wayfarer Films will also release in Kerala. Dulquer, Jom Varghese, Rana Daggubati, and Prashanth Potluri are the people creating the film.
Many people yet believe OTT will be extremely well-known among a lot of viewers and will endure even after the theaters close, despite Kaantha’s shift.
