Popular Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly is ready to make his web series debut with a new medical thriller titled Pharma. This series has already created strong interest among fans because of its serious theme and realistic story based on the pharmaceutical industry. Pharma will start streaming on the OTT platform JioHotstar from December 19, 2025. The makers officially announced the release date through social media along with the trailer. The series will be available in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi, making it easy for viewers across India to enjoy the show.

The story of Pharma follows the life of KP Vinod, a young medical sales representative. In the beginning, Vinod struggles to survive in the competitive medicine business. Doctors ignore him, and hospitals refuse to trust him. Slowly, he succeeds in selling a new drug called KydoXin and becomes one of the top performers in his company.

However, his success does not last long. Vinod later learns that the medicine he promoted has caused serious side effects in many patients. This truth leaves him filled with guilt and fear. The story then focuses on his moral battle as he decides to stand against the powerful pharmaceutical company. The show raises strong questions about patient safety, corporate greed, and personal responsibility.

Apart from Nivin Pauly, the series also features Rajit Kapur, Narain, Veena Nandakumar, Shruti Ramachandran, Muthumani, and Aalekh Kapoor in important roles. The series is written and directed by PR Arun. Music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while cinematography is handled by Abhinandan Ramanujam and editing by Sreejith Sarang. The story is said to be inspired by real-life incidents from the pharmaceutical world.

On the work front, Nivin Pauly will next be seen in the horror-comedy film Sarvam Maya, which is scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release. He also has a political thriller lined up.
