Donald Trump Avenue Road Hyderabad: The Congress-led Telangana government suggested naming the US Consulate General road in Gachibowli after current US President Donald Trump on Sunday, December 7, a move that may not sit well with some parts of the community.

“A road will be named after Donald Trump, the 45th and 47th President of the United States, in another intriguing idea that will be a first for planet Earth. “Donald Trump Avenue” will be the name of the prominent road that runs alongside the US Consulate General in Hyderabad, according to a press release from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s office.

The announcement is made one day before the “Telangana Rising Global Summit” being held here by the state government. On the same day, the Telangana government also decided to name the proposed Radial Ring Road (RRR) and the forthcoming greenfield radial road connecting the Nehru Outer Ring Road at Raviryala after Ratan Tata. The intersection at Raviryal is currently known as the “Tata Interchange.”

The state administration will write to the US Embassy and the Union Ministry of External Affairs regarding the new “Donald Trump Avenue” idea. The press release also stated, “It has been decided to name a prominent stretch as the ‘Google Street,’ recognizing the global impact and contribution of Google Maps and the corporation at large.”

The name is inspired by Google, which is now constructing its largest campus outside of the United States in Hyderabad’s Financial District. In addition, according to the Telangana Chief Minister’s vision, Microsoft and Wipro would probably be acknowledged on the city’s topography with a Microsoft Road and a Wipro Junction.
