They shared the list with a caption, “Most-watched streaming originals in India, for the week of Dec 30, 2024-Jan 5, 2025, estimated based on audience research.” The list reveals Squid Games season 2 topped the charts with 6.5 million views beating all the notable OTT releases. The second season starts from where the first season stopped. The lead actor in the series reprises his role to play games yet again in season 2 to stop the mad games. The 7-episode series takes us into the world of dangerous squid games.
After Squid Games season 2, the Doctors Hindi-language medical drama series that premiered on Jio Cinema on December 27, 2024, stood in second place with 3.1 million views. The third position was taken by Gunaah Season 2 with 2.9 million views streaming on Disney plus Hotstar. In the fourth place, Beast Games streaming on Amazon Prime Video with 2.7 million views. The beast games conducted by Mr. Beast have become one of the most-watched series of the week. Then Party Till I Die streaming on Amazon Prime video gained 5th place with 2.4 million views. The mystery thriller is gaining the audience despite the fresh casting.
In the sixth place Rajamouli‘s Documentary, RRR: Behind & Beyond streaming on Netflix with 2.3 million views. With 1.8 million views here comes the Swipe Crime available on Amazon Prime Video in seventh place. Here comes the famous series Mismatch season 3 featuring Prajakta Kohli standing in 8th place with 1.6 million views on Netflix. The last two shoes stand for Bandish Bandits season 2 in 9th position with 1.5 million views followed by Yo Yo Honey Sigh’s show on Netflix with 1.4 million views.
