BRS vs Congress: Telangana Assembly Erupts Over 30% Commission Row

BRS vs Congress: The Telangana Assembly witnessed a heated war between BRS leader KTR and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka over corruption allegations. KTR claimed that the Congress government was demanding a 30% commission. It is for approving contracts which led to strong protests from Congress members.

BRS vs Congress: Speaking in the Assembly, KTR accused Congress leaders of corruption. He stated that contractors were complaining about being asked to pay 30% commissions. It is to get their work approved. He also reminded the Assembly that some Congress MLAs had previously raised concerns about similar demands.

KTR further criticized the Congress by bringing up past controversies like the Vote-for-Note scam and allegations of purchasing the PCC President post. His comments caused uproar in the House with Congress leaders strongly opposing his statements.

Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka reacted angrily to KTR’s remarks. He rejected the corruption claims and accused KTR of speaking irresponsibly in the Assembly. Bhatti warned KTR to “watch his words”.He stated that Congress does not engage in unethical politics.

He also attacked BRS saying that their government had ruined the state and had no right to accuse others of corruption. Bhatti demanded that KTR prove his allegations or apologize immediately. Congress MLAs joined him in protest that caused further disruption in the House.

As the chaos continued, the Speaker intervened and announced that KTR’s 30% commission remarks would be removed from the Assembly records. However, the issue remained a major topic of discussion inside and outside the Assembly.

Meanwhile, BRS MLAs condemned Bhatti Vikramarka’s reaction. He stated that his warning to KTR was inappropriate. They demanded an apology from Bhatti which leads to further protests.
