Rashmika Mandanna continues to impress audiences with her versatile performances. After delivering a hit with Thamma, she is now ready to entertain movie lovers with her new film The Girl Friend. The movie has been directed by actor-filmmaker Rahul Ravindran and features Deekshith Shetty as the male lead. Produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi under Geetha Arts’ presentation, the film is set for a grand pan-India release on November 7, 2025.

They even went on to say that The Girl Friend could be another “National Award-level film,” appreciating Rahul’s storytelling and Rashmika’s performance. Some even told him, “You might be standing on the National Award stage again.”


Rashmika’s role in this film is said to be one of the most important in her career. Her character reportedly explores themes of self-respect, love, pain, and the emotional struggles of a modern young woman.
