Akhanda 2 Delay:
The makers of Akhanda 2 have officially postponed the film’s release, leaving Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fans deeply disappointed. The movie, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was originally planned for a grand release on December 5. Promotions were completed across both Telugu states, and fans were eagerly waiting to watch the much-awaited pan-India action drama.

However, things changed suddenly on the night before release. First, the production team announced that the premiere shows were cancelled due to unavoidable reasons. Soon after, 14 Reels Plus, the production company, released a statement saying the film’s release itself had been postponed. They mentioned that they tried their best to stick to the schedule, but certain issues were beyond their control. They apologised to the fans and promised to announce a new release date soon.

This unexpected decision upset many fans. Large groups of Nandamuri supporters had already reached theatres early in the morning, hoping to celebrate the release. Many shared emotional messages on social media, saying they felt heartbroken after waiting for so long. Some wrote that their loyalty and excitement were not respected, while others said only the date had changed—not the film’s power or success. Fans are still confident that Akhanda 2 will create the same impact as Akhanda, Simha, and Legend, which were all massive hits from the Balakrishna–Boyapati combination.

Some fans even posted videos showing their disappointment after theatres confirmed the delay. Many said they travelled long distances only to return home in sadness. Still, the fan base believes the film will break records whenever it finally releases.

With the hype around the teasers and trailer already high, the postponement has created even more curiosity. Now, everyone is waiting for the new date from the makers. Until then, discussions continue across social media, where fans repeat one message: “Only the date changed… the destruction of Akhanda has not stopped.”
