Malayalam Actor Fahadh Faasil Reportedly Charged Hefty Remuneration for Bougainvillea

Fahadh Faasil psychological crime thriller starrer Bougainvillea directed by Amal Neerad, was theatrically released worldwide on 17 October 2024 and successfully running at Indian box office.

Amidst the Bougainvillea release there’s a rumor circulating on the social media that actor had charged almost 25 % of the film’s budget. It is reported that the psychological crime thriller is made with an estimated budget of 20 crores, so the actor’s remuneration will be approximately 5 crores , which is quite a pay for small budget film.

Fahadh received critical appraise for his portrayals in the comedy-drama Maheshinte Prathikaaram , survival thriller Take Off , crime drama Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum , which won him the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor, satirical comedy Njan Prakashan , action thriller Varathan , drama Kumbalangi Nights and crime drama Joji . He established himself as star in South Film Industry with amazing screen presence in versatile roles in different genre and is all set to debut in Bollywood .

He earned Pan India popularity with his outstanding performance in Pushpa : The Rise. Thereafter, almost every film of his managed to draw the attention of the audience. He delivered blockbuster hit Aavesham, grossing over ₹154 crores against a budget of ₹30 crores. Vikram, Pushpa : The Rise and Aavesham proved he’s a commercial star, too.

Bougainvillea follows Royce and Reethu , a happily married couple with two kids whose life turns upside down when they meet with an accident, resulting in Reethu becoming amnesiac. It is reportedly that he was paid 5 crores for Vettaiyan is said to be 5 crores, which is quite reasonable as he can pull the audience to theaters.
