Eko Movie: After a very warm reception from the audiences for the film Kishkindhakandam, director Dinjith Ayyathan is taking on his next venture, Eko, which will hit the theatre today. Penmanship is done by Bahul Ramesh also the author of Kishkindhakandam and Kerala Crime Files Season 2 turning Eko into a great union between this writer and director again.
The young hero, Sandeep Pradeep, becomes the protagonist himself by entering into a narration universe in which animals will take an important role in the course of action. Just like in the earlier films Kishkindhakandam and Kerala Crime Files Season 2, animals are to be included as some of the significant elements here within the film Eko.
Eko is the final film of a three-part “animal trilogy” made by the maker. The three films are unrelated to their plot lines or recurring characters, but they share a common thread: the influential presence of animals in each story.
This is the trilogy that presents different crime-driven narratives in worlds where animals, by an almost imperceptible shift, alter the course of events. Crime, morality, and human behavior play as themes throughout all three films, behind all windows peculiar to such backdrop.
M.R.K. Jayaram produces the movie under the banner of Aardhya Studios. The movie boasts a strong cast that includes the likes of Saurabh Sachdev, Narain, Vineeth, Ashokan, Binu Pappu, Ranjith Shekhar, Saheer Mohammed, and Biana Momin.
Bahul Ramesh himself does the cinematography, while Mujeeb Majeed doing the music at the editing table is cut by Sooraj E.S. Shafi Chemmad is the production controller of this film.
Sajeesh Thamarassery does the art direction for the film, Rasheed Ahmed does the makeup, and costumes are designed by Sujith Sudhakaran. Audiography is managed by Vishnu Govind with Sagar marked as chief associate director. Project designer: Sandeep Sashidharan. Distribution is handled by Icon Cinemas with PR handled by A.S. Dinesh.
Eko promises to deliver an exciting cinematic experience in a world where animals will inevitably shape the course of destiny.
