Andrea Jeremiah, known for versatile roles in Annayum Rasoolum , Vishwaroopam , Tadakha , Endrendrum Punnagai, Aranmanai , Loham , Thoppil Jopaan , Taramani , Aval , Vada Chennai , Aranmanai 3 and Anel Meley Pani Thuli , in a recent conversation with recently Dhivyadharshini’s talk show, House of DD revealed that she is suffering from rare autoimmune skin disease.

The actress and playback singer opened up about her health struggles and recovery from the autoimmune skin disease during her appearance on Dhivyadharshini’s talk show, House of DD.

South actress Andrea Jeremiah in the adventure thriller film Kaa – The Forest 

Taramani actress  said that the critical condition caused premature graying of her eyebrows and eyelashes and left her waking up to new spots on her body each day. She further said that even after undergoing several blood tests, doctors were unable to identify any abnormalities, leaving her condition undiagnosed for some time.

Apart from singing under other composers’ direction, Andrea also produces her own music. She composed, wrote and sang a single, Soul of Taramani, as a promo for her Tamil romantic-drama Taramani. She has composed several music themes, songs and albums.

On work front Andrea gearing up for the release of her upcoming Tamil adventure thriller film Kaa – The Forest   directed by Nanjil and starring alongside Salim Ghouse. Film’s music is composed by Sundar C. Babu and was set for release after a six year delay. This film marks Ghouse’s final film and posthumous appearance.

Kaa – The Forest film previewed on 28 March 2024 and was set to release theatrically the next day before getting delayed again due to legal. The film’s official theatricla release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
