In a recent interview , he admitted that he had not been spending enough time with his loved ones. He said, “Relationships come above everything.” Vijay shared that in the past two years, he realized he was not spending enough time with his family and girlfriend. He confessed that he wasn’t happy with how his life had been. “I didn’t spend enough time with my mum, dad, my girlfriend, and friends,” he said.

Vijay added, “Suddenly, one day, I realized. I didn’t want to have such a feeling.” Now, he makes an effort to spend time with his family, friends, and girlfriend. He said, “I make time for my friends, I make time for my mum and dad, for my relationships.”
In a past interview with Curly Tales, Vijay revealed that he is not single. When asked about unconditional love, he said, “I know what it is to be loved, and I know what it is to love.” He explained that his love comes with expectations, so he doesn’t believe in unconditional love. “At the end of the day, it’s a good thing to be loved. Everything else is over-romanticized.”
In a game of Never Have I Ever, Vijay admitted he had dated a co-star. He also said, “I’m 35, you think I would be single? We all have to (get married) at some point unless it’s a choice not to.”
Vijay has been connected to Rashmika Mandanna for a while. They have shared pictures together and are often seen together in public. However, Vijay has not directly addressed the dating rumors.
Vijay was recently hospitalized after being diagnosed with dengue. He was unwell for a few days but is now recovering. He is also excited about his upcoming film, Kingdom. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is a spy thriller. It also stars Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev. The film’s music is by Anirudh Ravichander. Kingdom is the first part of a planned duology.
