Mohanlal’s Vrushabha: One of the most anticipated films ‘vrushabha’ with Mohanlal in the lead role is now in the wedge of facing issue with theatre release. The movie was originally slated to be released in theatres on November 6, 2023, but reports have suggested that it could be delayed because the VFX work is not finished.
Directed and written by Nanda Kishore, Vrushabha is a massive-scale mythological drama produced under the joint banner of Connect Media and Balaji Telefilms. The producers are Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R. Kapoor, C.K. Padmakumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abhishek Vyas, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta. The makers defined the project as one that is “bound to redefine the storytelling experience of Indian cinema.”
The film is a blend of action and emotional storytelling backed by the depth of mythology, all of which are primarily revolving around the story of a powerful father-son relationship. Earlier released teaser received a tremendous response, and it is established for its grand visuals and majestic portrayal of the king by Mohanlal- a first in his illustrious career.
Avengers of the Stars, besides Mohanlal, include Ragini Dwivedi and Samarjit Lankesh, among others. Having attained great heights of fame, this film possesses a practically brilliant technical crew: Anthony Samson – cinematography, K.M. Prakash – editor, Sam C.S. – music, Resul Pookutty – sound design, and to give spectacular fighting visuals will be Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, and Nikhil for action choreography.
At the present time, it is post-cutting, being perfected with modern-day visual effects, sound design and editing to offer one of the best cinema experiences. The film will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English to capture the essence of both Indian and global audiences.
