With the help of chase master Virat Kohli, India chased down the target of 265 runs set by Australia by 4 wickets. With this, they reached the final without defeat. Chasing master Virat Kohli was named the ‘Player of the Match’. South Africa and New Zealand will face each other in the second semi-final tomorrow. Team India will play the final against the winner of this on March 9.

Australia, who won the toss and batted first, were all out for 264 runs in 49.3 overs. Steven Smith (73) and Alex Carey (61) were the best batsmen for the team. Varun Chakravarthy bowled Travis Head, who was playing against India, and was caught out on the second ball he bowled in this match. With this, Head was out for 39 runs in 33 balls. Among the Indian bowlers, Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets, Varun Chakravarthy took 2 wickets, Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets. Axar Patel took 1 wicket, and Hardik Pandya took 1 wicket.
