Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 FE globally. This phone is aimed at consumers who want a premium experience for less. The S25 FE will compete against the Google Pixel 9a at a similar price level. Both phones offer a flagship experience at a much lower price.
The Pixel 9a features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2700 nits. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, which helps resist scratches. The phone contains Google’s own Tensor G4 chipset to power its AI features.

The S25 FE Sports a triple-camera rear system, including a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera, allowing for versatile photography that includes a 3x optical zoom lens.
The Pixel 9a battery measures 5100mAh—larger than the S25 FE’s 4900mAh battery—and has support for 23W wired charging and 7.5w wireless charging. The S25 FE battery supports even faster 45W wired charging and also includes 15W wireless charging. The S25 FE will charge quite a bit faster.
If you are looking to purchase for the camera, go with the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE; its telephoto zoom lens is fantastic. MicroSD card support and faster charging is also a major positive for the S25 FE. If you are looking for a phone for the long haul, go with the Google Pixel 9a; the larger battery ensures longer usage, and the promise of seven years of updates provides fantastic value for the asking price.
