Huawei has officially launched its new Watch D2 in India. This high-end smartwatch centers around advanced health monitoring. It includes both ECG and blood pressure monitoring features. Consumers can pre-order the device.
The price of the Huawei Watch D2 is ₹34,499, but pre-orders can be placed at an introductory price of ₹33,499 until October 5. It is available in two colorways – Black and Gold. You can find the watch on Amazon, Flipkart, or Rtcindia.net.
The watch is equipped with a 1.82-inch AMOLED display. It has a resolving power of 480×408 pixels, and a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits. Furthermore, it has an Always on Display.
The body of the watch is made from an aluminum alloy, and it contains a 26mm mechanical airbag. It also has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Aside from this, the watch contains Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM). It is capable of recording single-lead ECG data, and can detect an irregular heart rhythm and notify the user if there is potential arrhythmia.
The watch has received CE-MDR medical device certification in Europe, and it is certified by China’s medical administration.
It continually tracks your heart rate and SpO₂ levels. The watch also records your sleep patterns and stress levels. It also includes arterial stiffness detection. It sends you health reminders particular to you and gives you personalized reports.
The Watch D2 can be paired with Android and iOS phones using the Huawei Health app. You can accept and reject calls directly. You will receive your call log and notifications on it as well. There is also a simple weather display.
Huawei’s claims are that the watch should last up to seven days on a charge. The watch also fast charges to reduce downtime. The watch has 80+ sports modes available for athletes. You can also customize the watch faces using a companion app.
