Recently, actress Rashmika Mandanna took part in the Honest Townhall event, where she shared her feelings on love, trust, and the characteristics she seeks in a life partner. For her, the two core pillars in a relationship are mutual adjustments and trust; these, of course, not being the superficial attraction. The actress even explained that she admires people who are able to “see life from the other person’s perspective” and bring either compassion or strength to whichever situation they’re in.
“I want someone who’s kind-hearted and empathetic… open to the idea to stand up for me or with me, if necessary,” and that emotional maturity is what she desires.
The actress was jokingly asked which fellow actors she would “kill, marry, or date.” She humorously responded, “I’d marry Vijay,” of course, referring to Vijay Deverakonda. The audience murmured loudly and clapped at the stage. Then, she humorously mentioned how she might like to “date Naruto,” a very humorous way to break the ice given that Naruto is an animated character.
Rashmika’s comments have opened a Pandora’s box of rumors about Deverakonda that have been simmering for a while now. Reports suggested that the two could be tying the knot come early next year, with preparations for one in February said to be in full swing.
Ever since dating rumors went round following the success of their movies Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019), there have been whispers about their relationship. While neither has publicly acknowledged their relationship, fans have never allowed any doubt to exist about it. Both of them suggested earlier this year once more they weren’t single, while forgetting one another’s names was an obvious unstated way they decided to observe.
Fans are currently eagerly awaiting an official statement from this beloved on-screen couple.
