Sofik SK: Bengali influencer Sofik SK is in the spotlight after an intimate video of him and his girlfriend went viral on social media. With over 473k Instagram followers, Sofik faced massive trolling and criticism online. He later appeared in a video, apologising to his followers and explaining his side of the story.

Sofik Says the Video Is Old and He Has Changed: 
In his apology video, Sofik clarified that the leaked clip is more than a year old. He said he has become a “changed man” and is now focused only on his work. “The video is over a year old, and I am a changed man now. I focus only on my work. Some people can’t handle my progress, and that’s why they posted the video,” he said.

Claims of Blackmail by a Close Friend
Sofik also revealed that he and his girlfriend were blackmailed by a friend before the video was leaked. According to him, this friend had access to both of their phones and passwords.

How the Video Got Leaked:
Sofik explained that the video was not with him but on his girlfriend’s phone. He said, “We were shooting, and we gave our phones to that friend, who knew our passwords. We trusted him a lot. He took the video from our phones and kept blackmailing us. When I cut contact with him, he got angry and posted the video online.” Sofik added that he treated this friend like a brother and even stayed with him for a few days, but the friend still betrayed him.
