Hyderabad Metro: What is the new route proposed for Corridor-4

Hyderabad metro has held a meeting on Saturday in the metro rail headquarters regarding the corridor 4 for its second phase. It is planned for 36.8 kms stretch and the estimated cost is around 11,000 crores. In this meeting they planned and had discussion on the routes where metro is going to pass. They also planned for the alternative routes for the travelers going on the road.

Metro Second Phase:
For the second phase of hyderabad metro rail has proposed the plan to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The second phase will connect the metro rail from the Nagole metro station to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. It will include Nagole, Nagole X roads, Alkapuri junction, Kamineni hospital, LB Nagar, Bairamalguda, Maitri Nagar, Karmanghat, Champapet Road, Owaisi Hospital, DRDO Kanchanbagh, Balapur Road, Chandrayangutta.

The main places which connects this metro is Bandlaguda, New Court, New Court, New Court, Mail, Gaganpahad, Satamrai, Siddanti, Shamshabad, Cargo and will reach Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA). Metro rail headquarters said that their stations, locations and names are temporary at present.

Issues and Obejections Raised:
This new route is the beneficial for the passengers, it is focused to improve the connectivity across the city. Even though few people who are protesting government is mainly focused in reducing the congestion and improving the connectivity.

The Objection rasied in the meeting was about building the double elevated corridors. especially near the wipro route. Metro officals said that operating metro stations at a height of 65 feet will be having challenges. This problem was raised in this meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Though CM has suggested GHMC and Metro Rail officials to find the alternate routes and soultions for this problem. Metro officials are presently conducting soil tests and traffic surveys.
