TCS Layoffs: CEO and Top Executives’ Salaries Revealed

TCS Layoffs: Tata Consultancy Services is now planning to lay off around 12,000 employees. According to the internal sources, this is the company’s strategy to make it broader for the futuristic organization. Following this, the salaries of the company’s top executives and the CEO have been revealed.

The top executives of TCS, the biggest provider of IT services in India, made crores during the fiscal year that ended in March 2025, according to the company’s annual report. Let’s now look into the salaries drawn for the CEO and other top executives on the board.

1. TCS CEO K Krithivasan’s Salary:
In FY25, TCS CEO K Krithivasan’s pay rose by more than 4%. A basic pay of Rs 1.39 crore, Rs 2.12 crore in benefits, perquisites, and allowances, and Rs 23 crore in commission made up his enormous earnings of Rs 26.52 crore.

2. Executive Director, NG Subramaniam:
NG Subramaniam, the former Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of TCS, was paid Rs 11.55 crore until May 2024, at which point he resigned from his position. He received a base salary of Rs 30 lakh, Rs 4 crore in commission, and Rs 7.24 crore in benefits, perquisites, and allowances.

3. Executive Chairman N Chandrasekaran:

A Business Standard report states that N Chandrasekaran, the executive chairman of Tata Sons, received a 15% pay hike in FY25, making him one of India’s highest-paid executives. He earned a total of ₹155.81 crore this fiscal year — a full 15% more than the ₹135 crore he earned in FY24. His generous compensation package included ₹140.7 crore as commission on profits for FY25, along with ₹15.1 crore in salary and other benefits.

4. Non-Executive Directors:
Pradeep Kumar Khosla and Hanne Sorensen, both non-executive directors, were paid Rs 2.74 crore apiece.

5. Non-Executive Director:
Non-executive director Keki Mistry received a total compensation of Rs 3.06 crore, which included Rs 5.7 lakh in commissions and Rs 3 crore in commissions.
