TGSRTC Parigi Depot Tampering Case:
A major fraud has come to light in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC). The incident happened at the Parigi bus depot in Vikarabad district. It involves tampering with the engine and chassis numbers of a seized vehicle.
Last year in October, the police seized a borewell vehicle because it did not have proper documents. The vehicle was kept in the Parigi bus depot for security reasons. Later, it was found that the engine and chassis numbers on the vehicle were changed secretly by the owner.
It is alleged that the owner bribed some RTC staff to do this illegal activity. Using the new fake numbers, the owner tried to mislead the court and got an order to release the vehicle from the police. This has raised serious concerns about corruption within RTC.
The case became even more serious when it was revealed that some RTC and police officials were not cooperating with the investigation. They were hesitant to speak out about what happened. The matter has now reached higher authorities in the RTC, including Managing Director Sajjanar.
This case has damaged the reputation of TGSRTC and raised many questions. How could such fraud happen inside a government bus depot? Why were some officials silent?
Officials from both the police and transport departments are now under pressure. Many believe a detailed investigation should be conducted and strict action must be taken against those involved.
The public is shocked by how easily engine and chassis numbers were changed inside an RTC depot, which should be a secure place. This incident has shown the need for better monitoring and transparency in government offices.
People are now waiting to see what action TGSRTC and the Telangana government will take to prevent such frauds in the future and protect the integrity of public services.
