Audience Review: Laila is an action comedy film in Telugu that is directed by Ram Narayan. Sahu Garapati produced it under the Shine Screens banner. It has Akanksha Sharma as the female lead and Vishwak Sen in a dual role. Audience are not at all happy with these kind of concepts and films. After pandemic audience have seen many films from other industry’s and also international cinema.

Right now in 2025 audience are not ready to encourage this unrealistic and meaningless comedy film. Of course filmmaker might have decide to make a unrealistic and fun filled comedy film, but here fans are bored and feed up with vulgar, double meaning dialogues. Fans are urging film makers to not use double meaning dialogues and bad word usage just to generate comedy in the film. Vishwak has best filmography in his career till now like, HIT, Falaknuma Das, Mechanic rocky. But with this film fans are not at all happy.

Many people have mentioned that this is the worst love track ever in Telugu cinema. How come producers are approving these kind of films, how come these kind of scripts are getting approved. Fans are really irritated of this film, many netizens say how come filmmakers of this kind can believe that fans can watch any kind of film.

Minus Points for this film:
The main minus point of this film is intention of making this film. The idea and the concept itself is wrong, even though they decided to make this film why didn’t filmmaker tried to research of the past films which didn’t work with a quite similar concept. The second minus point for this film is the unnecessary VFX and Green screen shots. There is a scene where Vishwak and the heroine is running and in that scence also to make it look fast paced they have used green screen in very bad manner. The third minus point for this film is the vulgarity in dialogues, double meaning jokes and the bad word usage just for making the scene look funny, when there was not. Forced comedy scenes with this meaningless concept is doesn’t work to this audience.

Netizens said that the character look cartoonish and the comedy scenes are purely unfunny and fake. One reviewer on youtube said that normal jokes in real life with friends are way better than this scripted jokes in this film.

Laila Film Production:
Talking about the film production value, They haven’t used it properly at all. In most of the scenes the backgrounds were looking unrealistic.

Compare to vishwak’s previous film “Mechanic Rocky” the film which mainly runs on the thriller drama. it was a great idea but they forced heroism in the drama elements. In this film they failed in filmmaking but not on intension. But here in Laila the intension itself is complex and they have not executed properly. Audiences are trolling the film by stating “Cheap Jokes”

After this film vishwak’s next project HIT 3 which is most anticipated projects in 2025. Let’s see after his selection of scripts after this film. What do you think about film “Laila”?
