Raid 3 Storyline

Whereas Raid 2 is the sequel of political veteran’s screen fight, Raid 3 allegedly takes the series to yet another level. Guesses are that the third film goes trans-boundary into international money laundering crimes, and Amay Patnaik fights against corruption even internationally.

Raid 2 Review Analysis

Raid 2 remains faithful to its justice vs. corruption. This theme leaves fans in suspense. The film has action sequences that are visually appealing. These elements makes this film a worth watching sequel to the first film. Ajay Devgn’s convincing performance keeps audiences engaging, with Riteish Deshmukh’s villain avatar, fans were thrilled.

The powerful face off between Ajay Devgn and Ritesh Deshmukh has been a ground breaking scene. Having Vaani Kapoor in the film is not a great addition but the age gap between the lead actors has been evident. This caught the audience attention to gain backlash. Like many other political dramas, the elevations are much more than the actual story.
Positives:

Ajay Devgn’s commanding screen presence and gritty realistically written dialogue
Riteish Deshmukh’s subtle act as the villain
Witty script with well-executed turns
High production values and graphic action beats
Negatives

Predictable plot following a tried-and-true formula
Slow first half
Weak strong supporting characters compared to the original
Overall Review
Raid 2 is a decent, engaging crime thriller that stays close to the center of the franchise. While not as original as the original, it’s a decent sequel with decent performances and suspenseful scenes. Fans of the original will enjoy the soap-opera drama happening at stake height, but others will consider it a normal story.

Raid 2 Rating: 1.5/5
