Sailesh Kolanu will direct the movie, taking audience members into crime investigation world with Jammu and Kashmir being the setting of the movie. Let’s look at Nani’s Hit 3 review. While the first two installment movies gathered praise, the question everyone put forward was whether HIT 3 would prove itself to be living up to its franchise name.

HIT 3 Plot
The movie is adapted from SP Arjun Sarkaar, a ruthless policeman, who is sent to investigate a string of brutal murders in Jammu and Kashmir. During the process of investigation, he unravels a devastating chain of assassinations that take him to an expert professional killer. The movie follows the combat of intelligence of Arjun, his vicious quest for justice, and the unexpected twists and turns in events captivating the audience.
The story opens when Arjun Sarkaar was in the prision and a group of people attempts murder on him. To understand why they attacked him, the flashback starts with his past. Where Arjun Sarkar brutally killed two people as a part of his serial killings investigation. Now, who are the serial killers and why did Arjun Sarkar transfer to Vizag in the middle of his investigation. How this story goes forward? How did this impact Arjun Sarkaar’s personal and professional life? Is the whole film.
Nani’s performance as Arjun Sarkaar is intense and gripping, showcasing his ability to balance action, emotion, and psychological depth. The film’s cinematography and action sequences elevate the experience, making it a visually compelling thriller. However, while the investigation keeps the audience hooked, the antagonist’s characterization lacks the shock factor, making the conflict less impactful than expected.
Nani was portryed in a never before avatar making it a visually appealing element in the film. But in the name of action, they have set a new benchmark for the action thrillers. The fights were well composed and attracted the attention. This film has portrayed the brutal reality that has been kept under the wraps in our real life. But in a gripping action thriller, love story should always take the back seat. But the draw back in Hit 3 and Hit 2 is the main stream romance. While romance can bring audience to the theatre, the credibility is at risk. Because, true action thriller fans would be disappointed with this plot.
Along with the lead actors, Malayalam actress Shraddha Srinath also played a vital role. Her presence added value to the film unlike many supporting actors.
Positives
Nani’s powerful performance as a ruthless cop
Recruiting crime solving with surprise twists
Interval block
Good production values and graphic action set pieces
Ominous dark camerawork
Weaknesses
formulaic to a degree
Short on antagonist character development
Slow as molasses in the middle act
Overall Review
HIT 3 hits good with its lean crime thriller and sticking to franchise concepts. Not so original, it’s a good second installment with some decent acting and suspenseful moments. Fans of the first two will love the high-tension action, but newcomers might be caught thinking too much like “hit one/two” was.
