The Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal is seen playing a vital role in the historic period film Gladiator II. Ridley Scott directed it directed and was released on November 15, 2024. The Hollywood military film also stars Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, and Connie Nielsen, holding its own against fierce competition from Moana 2 and Wicked. Within the first three weekends of its release, Gladiator II has made over $300 million globally.

Gladiator II, which stars Paul Mescal in the lead role, has been doing fairly well at the box office. Globally, the Gladiator sequel has now made over USD 300 million. At the time of writing, it has amassed USD 111.2 million in local markets.


Pedro Pascal’s Movie Takes A Tortoise Race

Gladiator II has amassed USD 208.8 million in global revenue across 63 markets. In its third weekend abroad, Ridley Scott’s film brought in USD 27.2 million, a nominal decline of -46.1% from the previous weekend. By the end of its theatrical run, Gladiator II is predicted to have made between USD 450 and USD 500 million globally.

Gladiator II, made on a large budget of USD 300 million (USD 210 million net production price), is doing fairly well. It became director Ridley Scott’s highest-grossing film in its first weekend of release after earning an astounding USD 87 million throughout the extended five-day opening weekend in international markets.

Gladiator II, directed by Paul Mescal, made USD 10.3 million in France and USD 11.4 million in the UK. The movie made USD 5 million in Australia and USD 5 million in Spain. On its first day, it made a total of almost USD 19 million in nations like Mexico, Germany, Italy, Korea, and Brazil.

Gladiator, starring Russell Crowe, made USD 460 million at the global box office when the movie was released. Back then, the Oscar-winning movie from 2000 was a huge hit. It received five prizes and eleven Academy Award nominations. It is anticipated that Gladiator II would surpass Scott’s Gladiator’s lifetime revenues.
