Vivo is gearing up for the launch of their new smartphone, the Vivo T4R 5G, in India. Recently, a banner ad was published on Flipkart, teasing the design of the new phone. There is still no word on a launch date or pricing from Vivo, but the company has said that the new T4R 5G will be India’s slimmest smartphone with a 4-curved display.

What We Know So Far
The banner ad also shows that the phone will be available on Flipkart and confirms the phone will have a thinned-down profile at 7.39mm. The silhouette shows it will have some curves and a flat rear camera and the back. To land the title of being the slimmest phone in the country, Vivo, sums with details from Counterpoint Research (Q1 2025) that Vivo is now pitching this phone, to be the slimmest device, and with the device that has a display that is curved from all four sides.

Expected Price Box
While the official price has yet to be released, leaks have suggested that the Vivo T4R 5G could be priced in the ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 range, putting it right in between the Vivo T4x 5G priced at ₹13,999 and the Vivo T4 5G priced at ₹21,999.

This will provide a new feature set between the T4x for buyers who want more from a phone, and offer the T4 as an option for the higher-end feature set.

Expected features & specifications
While full specs are still yet to be officially revealed, leaks have suggested the T4R 5G is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip, which will given this phone decent performance among mid-range brands.

Another big feature could be an IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, which would be rare in the price segment. This would allow for a more durable phone for everyday use in tough conditions.

Vivo T4 5G: Features include Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 7,300mAh battery, 90W fast charging, 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 50MP dual rear cameras, and a 32MP front camera.

Vivo T4x 5G: Comes configured with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300, 6,500mAh battery, and 44W fast charging, 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP + 2MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera.

The T4R 5G is shaping up to feature powerful performance, an elegant curved design, durable modern features – all packed into a slim attractive body.
