Akshay Kumar returned to the fashion runway after a 12-year gap. The Bollywood actor made a stylish appearance at India Couture Week 2025 in Delhi. He walked for top designers Falguni Shane Peacock. The show featured their collection titled Raj Mahal Bijoux – The Palace of Jewels. Akshay wore an ivory bandhgala sherwani, paired with black sunglasses and silver juti. His showstopper look captured traditional glamour with a modern twist.
Known for his early bedtime and 4 a.m. wake-up habit, Akshay stepped out of his routine for the event. After the show, he interacted with the media around 11 p.m. He greeted reporters in Hindi and joked, “Kaafi late nahi ho gaya hai?” The remark drew laughter from those around. When a paparazzo said, “Dilli mein chalta hai sir,” Akshay replied quickly, “Tabhi haal dekh tera,” keeping the mood light.
Speaking about his return to the ramp, Akshay shared, “Actually, after a long time I am doing this ramp walk. About 12 years ago, I walked the ramp with these same designers.” He praised the designers and the effort behind the show. “I saw how much hard work goes into organizing a show. People dress up, and it finishes in just 25 minutes. Shane and Falguni present India in such an international way. They have made India proud,” he said.
