Redmi Note 14 SE 5G With 50MP Camera, Dimensity 7025 SoC Debuts In India

Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 14 SE 5G in India. This device presents some pretty good specs for a budget 5G phone: very powerful processor, bright display, and an amazing camera. The device belongs to the Redmi Note 14 5G family that was first showcased back in December 2024.

Prices and Availability
Starting at ₹14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G, you can buy it starting 7 August from Flipkart, Xiaomi India’s online store, and offline retail stores. There is also a ₹1,000 discount on select bank cards. The phone is available in three color options- Crimson Red, Mystique White and Titan Black.

Display & Design
The phone houses a nice 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2160Hz touch sampling rate. Peak brightness goes up to 2100 nits, making visibility easy under direct sunlight. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for well-enhanced viewing experience while the front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Performance & Software
In terms of performance, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. One can expect buttery performance and fast app loading from this phone. The device runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.

Camera Capabilities
This phone includes a triple rear camera system. The main sensor is a 50MP Sony LYT-600 lens. Additionally, it has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. Selfies and video calls are taken care of by a 20MP front camera. Under the right lighting conditions, these all performed well and offered decent quality.

Battery and Charging
The Redmi Note 14 SE 5G has a large 5,110mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging capable of powering up the phone quickly. While the battery keeps the phone going all-day, charging was minimal – I did not need to worry about finding a plug for the day.

Sound and Connectivity
The phone included dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio, providing a clear and loud audio experience for music and videos. Connectivity included 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack just in case there are still some audiophiles who prefer a wired connection.

Build and Protection
This handset had an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It weighs 190 grams and is also 162.4 x 75.7 x 7.99mm. The phone felt slim and lightweight in hand and appeared easy to carry.
