Motorola has again slashed the price of its G85 5G smartphone. Customers can purchase the smartphone for Rs 10,999 during Flipkart’s Freedom Sale. The sale will run from August 1 to August 8, and will include significant discounts, bank deals, and exchange offers.
The Motorola G85 5G launched at a price of Rs 15,999, and the current Flipkart price is Rs 10,999, making it a Rs 5,000 discount. The original MRP was Rs 20,999. Customers will also get 5% cashback on the purchase using eligible bank cards, effectively lowering the price further.
Storage Variants And Colour Options
The Motorola G85 5G has two storage variants:
8GB RAM + 128GB storage
12GB RAM + 256GB storage
There are four colour options: Cobalt Blue, Olive Green, Urban Gray, and Viva Magenta.
This budget smartphone has a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The display will also have a Corning Gorilla Glass protection and it includes an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The device has a premium vegan leather back design so stylish and compact.
The Moto g85 5G runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor with as much as 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The software is “Hello UI” based on Android 14, this means that the performance is very smooth and you should get updates till at least Android 15. It also has some nice AI features like “swipe-to-share”.
The G85 5G has a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging through USB Type-C. With that, you should be able to depend on battery backup for a full days’ usage, use it very heavily, and be able to recharge it quickly.
The phone has dual rear camera configurations:
50MP main camera
2MP macro camera
There is a 32MP front camera with AI for better clarity for taking selfies and video calls.
The Moto G85 5G comes with IP52 rated dust and splashes resistance and dual stereo speakers that deliver immersive sound, which further enhances your gaming and entertainment experiences.
