Vivo has recently announced the Y04s smartphone launch in Indonesia. It features a sizable 6.74-inch LCD touchscreen with an HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The display has an adaptive refresh rate which switches between 60Hz and 90Hz. The maximum brightness is 570 nits, with a coverage of 70% of NTSC color gamut, meaning in practice it should be bright and colorful for daily use.
The Vivo the Y04s is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T612 processor. This chipset allows the phone to deliver smooth performance for everyday apps and tasks. The phone is equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM in order to allow multitasking is seamless. Vivo has loaded the Y04s with Android 14, with a custom version of its FuntouchOS 14 on the top. Vivo want to create a clean and easy to use experience through this software.
The Y04s has 64Gb of internal storage based on eMMC5.1 storage technology. There is the addition of a microSD card slot. The Y04s microSD slot supports microSD cards of up to 1TB, which means plenty of storage for apps, photos and videos. The phone also makes use of a Crystalline Matte design on the back panel, which means the Y04s is an attractive device.
On the rear, the Vivo Y04s features a dual-camera system, with a main sensor that has 13-megapixel resolution and a second QVGA lens. The rear cameras also have an LED flash for low-light shots. On the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera, located in a prominent water drop notch. It supports a handful of camera modes, including Night, Portrait, Panorama, Slow Motion, and Time-Lapse.
The Vivo Y04s has a big 6,000mAh battery, with support for 15W fast charging, so users can enjoy long battery life and fast recharging times. There is a fingerprint scanner for security. Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port and GPS support with satellite system support for Beidou, GLONASS, and Galileo.
The Vivo Y04s dimensions are 167.30mm in length, 76.95mm in width, and thickness of 8.19mm. In terms of weight, the phone weighs about 202 grams. The phone comes in two color variations, Crystal Purple and Jade Green. Currently, Vivo is selling the phone in Indonesia for about Rs 7480.
