Redmi has recently launched its latest phone, the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G, in India. It competes directly with the Tecno Pova 7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M36 5G. Each phone offers different features in terms of processor, display, battery, and camera. So let’s discuss these in very common terms.
Redmi Note 14 SE 5G (6GB+128GB) price is ₹14,999.
Tecno Pova 7 Pro (8GB+128GB) is ₹17,999, and the 8GB+256GB version is priced at ₹19,999.
Samsung Galaxy M36 5G costs the same ₹17,499 for 6GB+128GB variant, and for the 8GB+128GB, it is ₹18,999.
The least option among the three is offered by Redmi.
Redmi Note 14 SE 5G has a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400×1080. It has 120Hz rate of refresh and or supports 2,100 nits brightness.
Tecno Pova 7 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution rating at 144Hz.
Samsung Galaxy M36 5G carries a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED finish with a full HD+ resolution and 120Hz rate of refresh.
Tecno provides the highest rate of refresh, whereas Samsung will offer the most vivid display.
Redmi Note 14 SE 5G has a 5,110mAh battery with Mi TurboCharge fast charging.
Tecno Pova 7 Pro has a 6,000mAh battery with fast charging at 45W and wireless charging speed at 30W.
Samsung Galaxy M36 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with a 25W fast charge.
Tecno wins for biggest battery and charging options.
Operating System
All three devices are on Android 15.
– Redmi is on HyperOS.
– Tecno is on HIOS 15.
– Samsung is on One UI 7.
Each brand has its own software experience on Android 15.
– Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra.
– Tecno Pova 7 Pro is MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate.
– Samsung Galaxy M36 5G is Exynos 1380 octa-core chipset.
Tecno appears to have the more powerful chipset on paper.
– Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is a 50MP Sony main with OIS, an 8MP wide lens, and 2MP. It is a 20MP front camera.
