HTC has introduced a new budget smartphone, called the Wildfire E4 Plus, in Thailand. The smartphone will be available in two colors, Black and Light Blue, and for now, customers will be able to purchase the smartphone from the company’s official website.
The HTC Wildfire E4 Plus will offer an expansive 6.74-inch touchscreen display. The display has an HD+ resolution and supports a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. The bezels to the display are slightly thick, especially at the bottom. The display features a waterdrop notch at the top of the display, which will house the selfie camera.
For performance, HTC has powered the smartphone with an octa-core Unisoc T606 processor. The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The onboard storage will allow you to store all your apps, photos, and videos with no issues. The power button and the volume buttons are located on the right side of the smartphone.
The HTC Wildfire E4 Plus has a dual rear camera system which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 0.3-megapixel secondary sensor. There are two LED flashes located next to the rear cameras. The front has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, located inside the notch.
HTC states the Wildfire E4 Plus has a 4,850mAh battery. They promote it as a 5,000mAh battery from a marketing perspective. The phone offers 10W wired charging from the charger supplied in the box. That battery capacity will give you long hours of regular use.
The phone comes out of the box running with Android 14. That means you get all the latest features and updates for the Android platform. The interface is tidy and works for basic, everyday usage.
HTC Wildfire E4 Plus was released at THB 3,599 (approximately ₹9,747). There is a single variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Buyers can pick from either Black or Light Blue.
The phone launched after being spotted months ago on Google Play Console. HTC launched the Wildfire E3 device in 2021 with a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and it had a 6.5-inch display. It looks like HTC is still building their Wildfire product lineup for budget customers.
