Android Phones Call Screen Changed Overnight Due To This Reason

Android Phones Call Screen Changed Overnight Due To This Reason

Google has put out a major update to its Phone app that will now change how Android users check, see and manage calls.

New Interface with Icons

The updated Phone app has a whole new interface complete with new modern icons and improved navigation. Users also have a new clean call screen complete with modern icons and much easier navigation.

Personalized Calling Cards

A new calling card feature lets users customize how their contacts appear while calling. You will now be able to add photos and change fonts for your contacts. The update will give users additional options to customize the appearance of their call screen.

Swipe and One-Tap Call Answer

Calling someone is now also easier with the new swipe-up or swipe-down feature to accept calls. This also gives less chance for users to accidentally hang up on people. Users will also be able to choose one-tap call answering to respond fast.

Favorites And Calls Are Reorganized

Favorite contacts now only appear in one tab at the top of the screen instead of in three. Recent calls and conversations now have a container box to view. Contacts have now also been added to the bottom navigation bar, but you can access them behind the three-dot menu located at the top right.

Beta Testing and Rollout

Google had tested these features with beta users a few months ago. After successful testing, the update is now available to everyone.

Who Will Get the New Features?

Only users with Android devices or Google’s Phone app will see these changes. People using custom skins like MIUI (Xiaomi), ColorOS (Realme, Oppo) won’t see the update. These brands use their own customized phone apps, not Google’s stock version.

User Reactions Online

Many Android users shared their experiences with the new update on social media. Most users appreciated the new look and customization features.

Conclusion

Google’s new update improves user experience with better design and more control. It’s a step toward a more personalized and user-friendly calling experience for Android users.
