Xiaomi has increased its already solid Redmi Note 15 lineup with the addition of the new Redmi Note 15R in China. The Note 15R is a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi 15 5G which was launched in India. Thus far, the Note 15R is the fourth device in the Redmi Note 15 family.
The device features a massive 6.9-inches Full HD+ screen with 2340 x 1080 resolution.
It has a super smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
The display uses DC dimming and Wet Touch Technology 2.0, allowing the touchscreen to work smoothly even when the surface is wet.
It has a peak brightness of 850 nits which makes it easy to see indoors and outdoors.
The Redmi Note 15R is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip.
It has three variants to choose from in terms of RAM and storage:
8GB RAM + 256GB storage
12GB RAM + 256GB storage
12GB RAM + 512GB storage
All configurations used LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
It also has a microSD card slot for more storage.
The rear shows three cameras, but this actually has two cameras, a 50MP main camera, and a second auxiliary sensor.
The front also has a camera too, which is an 8MP selfie camera.
The front and rear cameras can both record 1080p video at 30 fps.
One positive aspect includes the large 7,000mAh battery.
It offers 33W fast wired charging for quick top ups.
It also supports 18W reverse wired charging to charge other devices.
The phone supports dual SIM.
It has an IR blaster, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
There is dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support.
Connectivity options of Bluetooth 5.1 with Wi-Fi 5 support.
It has an IP64 rating in dust and water resistance.
Xiaomi offers the Redmi Note 15R in three color options: Glacier White, Shadow Black, and Sandy Purple.
