Xiaomi has released the Mijia Smart Gas Water Heater Pro in China. This smart appliance is packed with many advanced features in a sleek design.
The Mijia Pro has a 16-liter capacity and continuously provides hot water. This smart water heater is equipped with a dual-core water softener, where the builtin resin beads soften the water. These beads filter calcium and magnesium from the water to provide hydrophilic water.
Xiaomi included a four-stage filtration system, which has a combination of magnetization and mesh filters, it also has a silver-ion module and phosphate treatment to maintain purity.
The heater uses TSI booster pump technology to lift water vertically up to 10 meters. The performance boost increases water output by 180% and reduces preheating time by 50%.
There is a dual-loop system to achieve the constant temperature output, Xiaomi has included multiple features to keep water steady. Xiaomi also conducted a special design for low noise tones in the heater including soundproofing layers.
HyperOS and the Mi Home app let users control the heater and access information easily. The Mi Home app allows for automation with other smart home devices so there are a proven connections. The heater accepts salt refills from a drawer-style salt tank with app notifications.
Xiaomi listed the Mijia Pro at CNY 5,499 (identified at ₹67,100) in China. The heater debuts at an introductory price of CNY 4,999 (connected to ₹61,000). There has been no announcement of a global launch variant outside of China.
